Alex Schoenenwald shares his journey of how migrating from Amazon DynamoDB to Amazon Timestream for the IoT or sensor data in real-time has improved the architecture in terms of cost, latency, and the queries on Timestream despite of Amazon DynamoDB being very powerful and scalable.

Depascale Matteo explains in his blog post about Amazon Cognito triggers which gives an overview of the different types of triggers available and the way how we could leverage these triggers when building and architecting our Serverless apps with code snippet examples.

If you are familiar with EventCatelog by David Boyne, then a must-read blog by Matt Martz where he has built the feature of using AWS CDK to deploy EventCatalog where he explains how the front-end assets are hosted on a S3 bucket and using CloudFront distribution and fixing CloudFront URL rewrites with Lambda@Edge functions.

About the announcement of AWS Lamba extensions for parameters and secrets, Vu Dao beautifully explains how to use it in an AWS CDK application in his blog post. And also, Hayao's blog post calls out why developers should be happy about this announcement.
